  Just need to vent a little

  in the last week i have had three visits from brothers.

  so 6 witnesses in all as they come in pairs.

  now considering i used to go to the meetings, sit by myself and literally no one talked to me - ever - why the concern all of a sudden?.

  Did You Enjoy Your "Vacations " As a JW?

  we went on "vacation " every year because we were jehovah's witnesses!

  we were so fortunate to stay in a cheap hotel more often than not so that we could enjoy a witness convention.. we never enjoyed a real vacation though until many years later and the funny thing is---so many jws thought it was so materialistic because we went on more than one "vacation " per year..

  If we didn't go to the conventions we never would have left town. It was something anyway. In early times, as kids, we worked in the kitchen at the international conventions. The mass kitchen outside with giant pots to clean and people lined up to eat standing at long tables were so much fun. Later they became a time to see old friends and drink crappy soda and eat hoagies. At least the motels had a pool.

  Face it, they are playing jacks without a ball. Aint nothin here folks. If you want to read and reconcile craziness, I guess that's fun to do, but why not take a walk or a nap or do something positive? Contradictions you will find without effort from these criminals. Either way you guys are great at highlighting their hypocrisy and I guess that's the point. My bad.

  Regional Assembly Violence

  during a regional assembly, there was an incident when subjects suddenly invaded the assembly venue, spraying toxic gas and even hitting some brothers!..

  the police and the fire department arrived at the call and arrested some of these violent subjects.

  there are no reports of any death, more if several people who were affected by the gases.. let us pray for our beloved brothers so that they can be strong and courageous and regain their joy.. we know things are progressing from bad to worse, but we are also sure that we have the lord on our side!

  sadly it's in german, but i've been reliably informed of the crucial relevance of the moon, butterflies, owls, geckos, & mirrors in spiritistic practices - all featured in the "slave's" offering!

  perhaps someone with a knowledge of german can provide a more detailed analysis.. according to this guy's forensic examination of the video, it uses spiritistic practices and symbolism repeatedly.

  So now we are worried that a made up story about made up people, ie: Lot and the clan, is infected with symbolism of made up spiritual creatures? We must sacrifice something quick or get down on our knees to the Lord for protection until our religious leader of the year comes to absolve us. Get over yourself people.

  Hollywood messed up another one

  i am a big superhero fan and was looking forward to "the defenders".

  the first two episodes are great but then ... liberalism happens.

  one of the heroes (luke cage, big black guy) goes on this crazy rant, like a liberals wet dream of the bravehearth speech.

  i think most witnesses are simple minded.many are ignorant.

  there are a lot of basically "good people "in the religion but i believe many are kind of dumb, including many elders.

  Jerry's film persona was so goofy I loved it when I was a kid. Nothing makes me feel like a kid again as much as watching him conduct the choir in the movie You're Never Too Young with Dean Martin.

  I cried when John Lennon was shot and now I am definitely feeling weepy for Jerry. He was truly my inspiration as a child. What an idiot he portrayed, made me feel competent.
